Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 2 thick-cut prime steaks
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cracked peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (optional, to taste)

Instruction

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Generously rub the mix into the steaks. Allow to rest for at least one hour, or until the mix appears to have darkened and turned moist.
  • Preheat a grill to 450 F. Spray with a non-stick cooking grease. Slap each steak onto the grill, searing on each side until the steaks reach the desired doneness: 2-3 minutes on each side for rare, 3-4 minutes on each side for medium rare, 4-5 minutes on each side for medium, 5-6 minutes on each side for medium well, and 6-8 minutes on each side for well done
  • Let the steaks rest for five to ten minutes prior to serving, to lock in all the juices. Serve alongside BBQ shrimp kabobs, corn on the cob, and sauted veggies. Enjoy!
