Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 2 apples, for example Elstar
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 200 ml heavy cream
- Tablespoon vanilla extract
- Small handful raisins
- Fudge (small, or slice into tiny cubes)
- Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnishing
Instruction
- You will need the following cooking equipment:: Chefs knife, Cutting board, Vegetable peeler, middle-sized skillet, 6 glasses, Electric mixer or whip the cream using a whisk and bowl
- PEEL the apples and slice into tiny cubes. HEAT up the middle-sized skillet on high heat and bake the diced apples for a few minutes. ADD 3 tablespoons of sugar and bake for another few minutes, you'll notice the sugar will begin to caramelise.
- TURN off the heat and let cool off to a lukewarm temperature before adding in the whipped cream. WHIP the heavy cream together with a tablespoon sugar and a tablespoon vanilla extract using an electric mixer or whisk and a bowl.
- DON'T whisk the cream stiff, it should resemble the same thickness as yogurt. Caramelised apple with fudge
- CUT the fudge into tiny cubes. DIVIDE a layer of lukewarm caramelised apples onto the bottom of each glass. ADD some raisins, fudge and a layer of whipped cream.
- REPEAT until everything has been used up. FINISH with a layer of apples, raisins and fudge. GARNISH the dessert with a sprig of fresh mint. Enjoy!
