Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups cooked and cooled rice
- 3 tablespoons oil or butter
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cloves
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 3/4 cup chopped onions
- 1.5 cups chopped capsicums
- salt (to taste)
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper powder (15 black peppercorns powdered)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves (for garnish)
Instruction
- Cook and cool the rice thoroughly.
- Heat a pan with 3 tablespoons butter or oil. Add bay leaf, cloves and cumin seeds. Saute well.
- Add finely chopped onions and saute till soft.
- Next add chopped capsicums. Add salt, pepper powder and mix well.
- Saute in high flame for 8-10 minutes.
- Add cooked and cooled rice and toss gently.
- Garnish with cilantro leaves and serve with raita.
