The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lemon size tamarind (/ 4 tbsp of tamarind pulp)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil (preferably sesame oil)
  • 1 tsp black mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp urad dal (/skinless black gram)
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 cup onion (finely chopped )
  • 1 cup tomatoes (roughly chopped )
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 3 tsp coriander powder
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt (or as required)
  • 1 green pepper (/ capsicum-cut into cubes)
