Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes packed in oil, (patted dry and chopped)
  • 2 Tbs. chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 4 slices fresh mozzarella
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 to mato slices
  • 8 large fresh basil leaves
  • 2-3 Tbs. balsamic glaze*

Instruction

  • Preheat grill for direct heat grilling.
  • In bowl combine ground beef, sundried tomatoes, chopped basil leaves, garlic powder, kosher salt and cracked black pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
  • Grill, turning once and topping with mozzarella during last 2 minutes of grilling time. Grill until cooked through or until meat thermometer reads 165F.
  • Serve burgers on buns and top with tomato slices, fresh basil leaves and drizzle of balsamic glaze. Serve with additional balsamic glaze if desired.
