Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes packed in oil, (patted dry and chopped)
- 2 Tbs. chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper
- 4 slices fresh mozzarella
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 to mato slices
- 8 large fresh basil leaves
- 2-3 Tbs. balsamic glaze*
Instruction
- Preheat grill for direct heat grilling.
- In bowl combine ground beef, sundried tomatoes, chopped basil leaves, garlic powder, kosher salt and cracked black pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
- Grill, turning once and topping with mozzarella during last 2 minutes of grilling time. Grill until cooked through or until meat thermometer reads 165F.
- Serve burgers on buns and top with tomato slices, fresh basil leaves and drizzle of balsamic glaze. Serve with additional balsamic glaze if desired.
