Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonaise
  • 1 tablespoon hot chili sauce
  • 3 turnips peeled & scrubbed; cut into steak fry wedges
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning or rub

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Line a large sprayed cookie sheet with tin foil.
  • Place turnips in a large resealable bag with oil and shake around.
  • Add in seasoning and shake well.
  • Lay wedges on your baking sheet and cool for 30-35 minutes or until tender on the inside and crispy-brown on the outside.
  • Turn turnips over half-way through cooking time.
  • Now in a small bowl stir together the chili sauce and mayonnaise until thoroughly combined.
  • Once turnips are finished fan them around your spicy sauce and serve.
