Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
- 1 tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted)
- 1/2 cup chicken stock (use vegetable stock for a vegetarian recipe)
- 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
Instruction
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add chicken stock, cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper powder, and mix well.
- Add corn kernels, salt, and pepper and mix well.
- Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until the corn is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Check for salt and pepper and add more if needed.
- Serve hot.
