Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 4 cups instant white rice, cooked
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium orange bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 small red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp. cajun seasoning, or to taste
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. dried celery flakes
  • ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
  • ⅔ cup beef broth
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • dried chives, for garnish

Instruction

  • Recipe Directions In a large skillet, over medium high heat, brown beef with peppers until no longer pink. Drain if necessary. Add rice and mix well. Add seasonings and beef broth. Reduce heat to medium low and cook and stir until liquid is absorbed, about 5-7 minutes. Garnish with chives before serving.
