Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 slices crispy cooked bacon
  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 lb. kielbasa sausage sliced in 1/4 inch rounds
  • 1 large sweet onion cut in half and then cut in thin crescents
  • 1 red bell pepper julienned
  • 1/2 head green cabbage cut in thin shreds
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instruction

  • Cook the bacon in the wok over medium heat rotating the slices from the center out. Place on paper towels to drain and set aside.
  • Add 1 tablespoon canola oil to wok and heat on high. Add kielbasa and cook until lightly browned. Remove to plate. Add 1 tablespoon canola oil to wok and heat on high until just smoking. Add onion and red pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes stirring a couple of times. Remove to plate. Add 1 tablespoon of canola oil to wok over high heat.  Add cabbage and cook additional 3-4 minutes stirring several times. Reduce heat, add garlic and cook for 1 additional minute. Return cooked kielbasa and sprinkle bacon over the top. Salt and pepper to taste.
