Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
  • 2 cups waxy potatoes (cut in small wedges)
  • 2 cups Celeriac (cut in small wedges)
  • 2 cups carrots (cut into strips)
  • 2 cups Rutabaga (cut in small wedges)
  • 3 cups white Cabbage (cut into strips)
  • 6 cups vegetable stock
  • 1 cup Sieved tomatoes
  • 2 cups Sausage (e. g. Cabanossi, sliced)
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin
  • 2 Tbsps chopped Chives

Instruction

  • Sauté the onion in hot oil until translucent. Add the vegetables, fry together briefly and pour over the stock. Stir in the sieved tomatoes and simmer on a moderate heat for around 20 minutes, adding the sausage around 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
  • Season to taste with salt, pepper and cumin, and serve sprinkled with chopped chives.
