Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • Butternut squash - 2 cups
  • Sugar- 1/2 - 3/4 cup (adjust as per your taste)
  • Cardamom - 5
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Cashews - 1.5 tbsp
  • Water - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
  • Milk - 1.5 cup

Instruction

  • Remove the skin of butternut pumpkin and chop into small, thin pieces.
  • In a pan, add 3/4 cup water and boil the pieces till it becomes soft.
  • Let it cool and then grind in a mixie to a coarse puree.
  • In a pan, heat ghee, roast the cashews and keep them separately in a plate.
  • In the same pan, add the butternut pumpkin paste, milk, ground cardamom powder, sugar, ghee and mix well.
  • Allow it to boil by stirring in between till it becomes semi-solid.
  • Add the cashews finally and switch off.
  • Now it’s ready to serve.
