Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- Butternut squash - 2 cups
- Sugar- 1/2 - 3/4 cup (adjust as per your taste)
- Cardamom - 5
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Cashews - 1.5 tbsp
- Water - 1/2 to 3/4 cup
- Milk - 1.5 cup
Instruction
- Remove the skin of butternut pumpkin and chop into small, thin pieces.
- In a pan, add 3/4 cup water and boil the pieces till it becomes soft.
- Let it cool and then grind in a mixie to a coarse puree.
- In a pan, heat ghee, roast the cashews and keep them separately in a plate.
- In the same pan, add the butternut pumpkin paste, milk, ground cardamom powder, sugar, ghee and mix well.
- Allow it to boil by stirring in between till it becomes semi-solid.
- Add the cashews finally and switch off.
- Now it’s ready to serve.
