Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 thin chicken breasts ((about 4-5 ounces))
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2-4 TBS olive oil
- 1/3 cup buffalo wing sauce (like Franks or homemade), (plus extra for topping)
- 2 hamburger buns, (I like brioche buns)
- bib or romaine lettuce
- tomato slices
- 4 TBS blue cheese crumbles
- ranch
Instruction
- Mix the seasonings in a small bowl, then generously sprinkle over the chicken. Flip the chicken over and season the other side.
- Using a medium sized skillet, add oil to have a thin layer in the skillet (2-4 TBS depending on the size of your skillet). Heat for 1 minute over medium heat, then add the chicken breasts. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip, cooking 4-5 more minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Remove from skillet.
- Add 1/3 cup wing sauce to a shallow dish or bowl. Place chicken into the sauce and stir to coat the chicken breasts.
- Assemble the sandwiches: bottom of bun, lettuce, chicken breast, tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, ranch, and buffalo sauce. Dig in!
