Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 1 cup mashed banana (about 2 bananas)
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (18-oz) box brownie mix
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.  Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, oil and eggs.  Add the brownie mix and stir until just combined.
  • In a small bowl, toss the chocolate chips in the flour. Fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.  Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean*.  Let the bread sit in the pan for 15 minutes, then run a sharp knife around the edges and invert to remove the bread.  Cool the bread completely on a cooling rack before slicing.
