Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 5 cups chopped pineapple (or one large pineapple cored and chopped)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup salted butter (melted)
- 1/8 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instruction
- Lightly spray a 9x13" baking dish with non stick cooking spray. Spread the pineapple chunks out evenly in a single layer. Pour the pineapple juice out over top of the pineapples.
- In a small mixing bowl add the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together until evenly combined. Sprinkle the seasoned flour mixture evenly out over the pineapples. Gently toss them to coat.
- Spoon the melted butter evenly out over top of the pineapples.
- Bake the pineapples at 450 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until the pineapples are golden and caramelized with the brown sugar.
- Remove the pineapples from the oven, and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
