Ingredients
The following ingredients have 9 Servings
- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instruction
- Set oven to 350F
- Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper for easy removal and to cut cleanly. If you don’t use parchment, lightly grease the pan.
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt to combine.
- Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mix well. Add vanilla and mix in.
- Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
- Spread evenly in your pan and bake for 30-35 minutes — the blondies will be lightly golden. Don't over-bake.
- Cool before cutting.
