Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instruction

  • Set oven to 350F
  • Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper for easy removal and to cut cleanly. If you don’t use parchment, lightly grease the pan.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt to combine.
  • Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mix well. Add vanilla and mix in.
  • Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
  • Spread evenly in your pan and bake for 30-35 minutes — the blondies will be lightly golden. Don't over-bake.
  • Cool before cutting.
