Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 Italian Sausage (links)
- 300 grams Broccoli (in small florets)
- 1 small Lemon (zest of)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chili Flakes
- 60 ml Sunflower Oil
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
Instruction
- In a big bowl, make the marinade (all the ingredients except the broccoli and sausage, Sunflower oil, and Sesame Seeds). Add the broccoli to it and let it sit for just a few minutes.
- While the broccoli is in the marinade, peel the casing off the Italian sausage. Break off small-ish pieces with your fingers and leave as a pile on a cutting board or plate.
- In a skillet (or wok if you are using an open flame...and have a wok) add the oil and turn the flame/heat on max.
- When the oil is up to temperature, add in the broccoli with all the marinade. It WILL sputter and steam and overall be a bit dangerous, but hey, that's cooking. Shake the pan for about 10 seconds then add all the sausage. Shake the pan some more so all the sausage isn't in a big clump. Cook until the sausage just begins to brown then turn off the flame. Using a slotted spoon/spider ladle move everything to a papertowel to get rid of the excess oil. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Serve the broccoli sausage stir fry hot as is, or over rice or with noodles.
