Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1.5 lbs skirt or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 cups Broccoli Florets
  • 12 oz soba noodles
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • green onions, optional
  • sesame seeds, optional
  • cilantro, optional
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce, or coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 birds eye chilis, minced or 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp ginger, grated
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

Instruction

  • In a medium bowl mix cornstarch, 1 tablespoon honey and 1/2 cup soy sauce together until combined
  • Add beef and toss until the meat is coated
  • Set aside for 10 minutes.While beef is marinating cook soba noodles according to package instructions and set aside.Prepare a steam basket over boiling water adding broccoli once steam is produced
  • Cover and simmer for 3 minutes
  • Set broccoli aside.In a small bowl whisk together all ingredients for the spicy sesame sauce and set aside.Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large skillet, or wok over high heat
  • Once the oil is smoking, add the beef in small batches cooking until edges are crispy
  • Continue with the rest of the beef
  • Add beef, broccoli and noodles to the pan along with the the sesame sauce
  • Cook and toss together over medium heat until everything has combined
  • Serve hot with green onions, cilantro, extra chilies and sesame seeds.
