Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1.5 lbs skirt or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 4 cups Broccoli Florets
- 12 oz soba noodles
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- green onions, optional
- sesame seeds, optional
- cilantro, optional
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce, or coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime zest
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 birds eye chilis, minced or 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp ginger, grated
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
Instruction
- In a medium bowl mix cornstarch, 1 tablespoon honey and 1/2 cup soy sauce together until combined
- Add beef and toss until the meat is coated
- Set aside for 10 minutes.While beef is marinating cook soba noodles according to package instructions and set aside.Prepare a steam basket over boiling water adding broccoli once steam is produced
- Cover and simmer for 3 minutes
- Set broccoli aside.In a small bowl whisk together all ingredients for the spicy sesame sauce and set aside.Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a large skillet, or wok over high heat
- Once the oil is smoking, add the beef in small batches cooking until edges are crispy
- Continue with the rest of the beef
- Add beef, broccoli and noodles to the pan along with the the sesame sauce
- Cook and toss together over medium heat until everything has combined
- Serve hot with green onions, cilantro, extra chilies and sesame seeds.
