Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 6-8 Bread Slices (Cut diagonally into triangles)
- 1 cup Besan/Chickpea flour
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Green Chilli (Finely Chopped)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander (Finely Chopped)
- 1 tsp Ajwain
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Oil (For Frying)
Instruction
- Mix all the ingredients except bread slices in a bowl.
- Add water and make a batter.
- Batter should be just thin enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Heat oil for frying.
- Once the oil is hot, simmer the heat to medium low.
- Dip the bread slices in the batter and drop them in hot oil.
- Deep fry until golden brown from both the sides.
- Drain on a tissue lined plate.
- Serve hot with coriander chutney.
- Do not over crowd the pan while frying the pakora.
