Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 6 bread slices
  • 1 large onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 to matoes (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 green bell pepper (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger-garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instruction

  • First the masala should be prepared. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a kadai. Temper with cumin seeds. Add slit green chilies, minced ginger garlic and saute well.
  • Add finely chopped onions and saute till the color changes.
  • Add finely chopped tomatoes and saute well for few minutes. Add finely chopped capsicum and mix well. Add salt and chili powder, saute well and cook till the tomatoes turn mushy and oil leaves out.
  • Just before serving take the bread slices and toast well with or with out oil. Break or cut the bread slices into cubes. Toss the cubed bread slices into the prepared masala, add lemon juice mix well and serve bread masala immediately.
