Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 10 sweet bread slices.
- ghee 6 tb spoons
- 3 cup 250 ml of whole fat milk
- 1 1/2 cup Half of the measurement of bread powder sugar
- roasted nuts (cardamom powder)
Instruction
- Take 10 wheat bread slices Powder them in a mixie.
- Heat a heavy bottomed pan with 2 tb spoons of ghee. Once the ghee is heated keep the flame low and roast the bread powder to golden brown colour.
- Now add 3 cups (250 ml) of whole fat milk to it and stir well. In few minutes the bread absorbs the milk fully and becomes like a paste consistency.
- Now add 1 1/2 cups (Half of the measurement of bread powder) of sugar to it and stir well. While stirring add 3 tb spoons of ghee.
- Within 5 minutes the halwa will come like a ball without stirring to the pan. Add roasted nuts, cardamom powder and stir.
