Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 25 g butter
- 4 bacon rashers diced
- 1 cup button mushrooms sliced
- 1 onion diced
- 300 ml thickened cream
- 250 g sour cream
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 30 ml sherry
- 1 pinch Italian mixed herbs *to taste
- 1 1/2 tsp cornflour
- 2 tbs water
- 1/2 cup cheese grated optional
- 1 pinch parsley diced optional *to serve
Instruction
- Fry bacon, onion and mushrooms in butter and sherry.
- Add cream, garlic and sour cream. Stir well.
- Sprinkle in herbs, remaining sherry, cheese and season to taste.
- Simmer for 1 minute.
- Mix in water and cornflour and simmer until thick.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
