Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup blueberries (you can use frozen)

Instruction

  • In a bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Keep aside.
  • In a different bowl, Beat the egg, vanilla, and milk for two minutes.
  • Add the wet mixture to the dry and mix for few seconds. Do not over mix. You may see few lumps but that’s alright. Add the blueberries and mix for three seconds.
  • Heat your waffle maker. Spray your waffle maker with oil, then pour the batter into the waffle maker. Usually, it is best to not fill the waffle maker and keep around an inch away from the edges since it is going to spread when you close the waffle maker.
  • When the waffles are done serve with your favorite syrup or topping.
  • To store the waffles, place in a Ziploc bag and freeze.
