- 1 large Granny Smith apple (peeled and sliced)
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats (also called large flake oats)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup virgin coconut oil (melted)
- 1 tablespoon coarse sugar (for sprinkling; optional)
