Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 2 cups frozen blackberries or 1 pint fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch

Instruction

  • In a sauce pan, combine the blackberries, sugar and water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle in the cornstarch and stir to combine. Stir until cornstarch is combined and mixture is thick. I leave the berries whole but you can mash at this point is you don’t want big pieces. Makes 2 cups.
