Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 can black beans (15 ounce can or approximately 1 1/4 cups of beans)
- 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon chile powder
- 1 lime zest
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 Tablespoon water
Instruction
- Place beans, seasonings, lime zest and lime juice in a food processor along with 1 tablespoon of water
- Pulse until blended. Scrape down sides. Add one additional tablespoon of water if the mixture is too thick
- Add cilantro and pulse until just blended
- Taste and add additional salt if needed. If mixture is still too thick, add an additional tablespoon of water. The dip should be very creamy in texture
- Remove from food processor bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro
