Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 can black beans (15 ounce can or approximately 1 1/4 cups of beans)
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon chile powder
  • 1 lime zest
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 Tablespoon water

Instruction

  • Place beans, seasonings, lime zest and lime juice in a food processor along with 1 tablespoon of water
  • Pulse until blended. Scrape down sides. Add one additional tablespoon of water if the mixture is too thick
  • Add cilantro and pulse until just blended
  • Taste and add additional salt if needed. If mixture is still too thick, add an additional tablespoon of water. The dip should be very creamy in texture
  • Remove from food processor bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro
