Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 2 pounds ground beef (browned)
  • 1/2 cup white onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 4 oz. cream cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1-2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons French dressing
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoons classic yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. After the beef is partially browned, add the onions and continue cooking until the beef is done cooking and the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Drain any excess fat and liquid from the pan. Add the cream cheese and 1⁄2 cup cheddar cheese to the pan and stir until it is melted and mixed in evenly.
  • Spread ground beef mixture into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Whisk together the eggs and cream until combined. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the meat mixture.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cup of cheddar cheese over the top of the mixture.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the egg/meat mixture is set.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Pour the sauce over the top of the casserole when it comes out of the oven (vary the amount of sauce you add for personal preference).
  • Sprinkle shredded lettuce and dill pickle slices over the top of the sauce and serve immediately.
