Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 100 g cavolo nero (black kale) ((trimmed weight))
  • 1 1/2 TB olive oil
  • 1 TB nutritional yeast flakes
  • 15 g Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • pinch ground white pepper

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan oven). This is 220°C for conventional ovens (or 425°F / gas mark 7).
  • Trim and discard the large centre stalk from the kale.
  • Chop the leaves into approx. 4cm / 2-inch size pieces. (100g / 3.5oz would be the trimmed weight.)
  • Place the kale into a large bowl and drizzle over the olive oil. Combine the remaining ingredients into a small bowl and add to the mix, using clean hands to toss and rub into the leaves for even coating.
  • Spread out on a large roasting tray and cook in the oven for 5 minutes, rotating the tray after 2 ½ minutes.
