Ingredients
The following ingredients have 8 Servings
- 1 ½ lbs. ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic (,minced)
- 1 Tbs. chili powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- ½ tsp. kosher salt
- 1 can (29 ounces) red kidney beans (,drained and rinsed)
- 1 jar (15.5 ounces) salsa
- 1 can (4.5 ounces) chopped green chiles
- ¼ cup tomato paste
Instruction
- Cook ground beef, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin and salt in sauce pot over medium-high heat until beef is browned.
- Stir in beans, salsa, green chiles and tomato paste and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 25 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Top with sour cream, cilantro leaves, sliced scallions, shredded cheese and jalapeno slices.
