Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 stick butter
- 3 pounds red potatoes
- 2 ½ tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
Instruction
- Cut the potatoes into bite-size pieces and place in a large bowl of cold water (to keep from browning) as you cut the remaining potatoes. Once all the potatoes are cut up rinse well in cold water to remove most of the starch.
- Keep the potatoes in the cold water until you are ready to cook.
- Drain well before cooking.
- Melt the margarine or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the drained potatoes, chopped garlic, salt, pepper and paprika to the skillet. Toss the potatoes well to coat with the butter and seasonings.
- Cover the skillet and cook, tossing occasionally until the potatoes are fork tender.
- Sprinkle the paprika over the cooked potatoes and stir to combine.
- Serve with your favorite barbecue, chicken or beef recipes.
