Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 200 g plain flour
- 1 egg
- 180 ml full-fat milk
- 50 g butter
- 30 g caster sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/3 tsp vanilla extract
Instruction
- Melt the butter and allow it to cool.
- In a large bowl, beat the egg slightly, add the milk and butter and whisk well.
- Sift the flour and add it to a bowl together with the baking powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, the milk mixture.
- Mix well to get a lump-free and sticky batter.
- Preheat the waffle maker and brush it with a bit of oil or butter.
- Depending on the waffle maker you use, you will need about a big tablespoon of batter per waffle.
- Leave too cook until the waffles are golden, 4-5 minutes per batch.
