Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4.5 – 5 pound Pork Shoulder Boston Roast (bone in or boneless)
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1- 12 oz bottle dark beer (I used Sierra Nevada Porter)

Instruction

  • Place peppers and onions in a dutch oven.
  • Add pork shoulder.
  • Pour beer over top.
  • Cover and place in the oven.
  • Bake at 275 degrees F for 4-5 hours until meat is tender enough to easily shred with fork.
  • Shred and remove bone if necessary.
