Ingredients

The following ingredients have 7 Servings
  • 1 Bag of frozen Fries (frozen - Do not thaw, any flavor)
  • 1 Bottle of Beer
  • 1 Cup of powdered Pancake Mix
  • 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Powdered Mustard
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Flour for coating
  • Parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instruction

  • Mix the frozen potatoes with the flour until they are completely coated. Toss out the excess flour
  • In a bowl whisk together the pancake mix, garlic powder, paprika, mustard and salt. Add the beer and whisk until completely mixed and no lumps form
  • Working in batches, throw the potatoes inside the batter and shake off the excess using a slotted spoon
  • Carefully insert the battered potatoes inside a big pot of oil over medium heat. Stir to make sure the potatoes do not stick together. Fry until they are brown and crispy. About 3-4 minutes
  • Place the fried potatoes on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil
  • Add salt, pepper and parsley
  • Enjoy!
