Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound boneless new York Strip steaks (trimmed)
- 8 ounces fresh broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon rice wine
- 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 8 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
Instruction
- Trim steaks of visible fat and slice thinly.
- Whisk together marinade and marinate steak slices 4-6 hours or overnight, refrigerated.
- Whisk together the sauce and drain off marinade from the steak, adding it to the sauce.
- Add two tablespoons peanut oil to wok and stir-fry broccoli florets until they turn deep green; add 1/2 cup water and continue to cook until water evaporates.
- Set broccoli aside in a bowl.
- Add two more tablespoons peanut oil and stir-fry the steak until no longer pink.
- Add the sauce and cook until thickened.
- Stir in the broccoli, mixing well.
