Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 lbs. Beef Stew Meat ((lean beef cut into cubes by butcher))
- 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. Yukon Gold Potatoes ((cut into bite size pieces))
- 5-6 large Carrots ((peeled and sliced))
- 1 large Onion (chopped)
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder ((or 4 garlic cloves finely diced))
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 28 ounces Beef Broth
- 1/4 cup Tomato Paste
- 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch or Flour
Instruction
- Place beef stew meat, potatoes, sliced carrots, and chopped onion into a slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour in beef broth, tomato paste, and cornstarch and stir.
- Heat on low for 8 hours or on high for 6 hours. This beef stew does best cooking low and slow so I suggest cooking it on low for 8 hours.
- Taste for seasoning and add more salt and pepper as needed.
