Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 500 gram beef round steak, sliced thinly
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 brown onion (200g), sliced thickly
- 400 gram broccoli florets
- 2 carrots (360g), sliced thinly
- 1/4 cup (60g) black bean paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornflour
- 2 tablespoon water
- 2 teaspoon finely grated lime rind
Instruction
- Combine beef, garlic, ginger, juice and sugar in medium bowl. Cover; refrigerate 4 hours.
- Heat half of the oil in heated large wok; stir-fry beef mixture, in batches, until browned.
- Heat remaining oil in wok; stir-fry onion, broccoli and carrot about 2 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Return beef to wok. Add blended paste, sauce, cornflour and the water; cook, stirring, about 2 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens slightly. Serve sprinkled with rind.
