Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- You will need:
- 1 lb Ground Sirloin
- 1 lb fresh Tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can of Crushed Tomatoes (I used Red Gold)
- 3 ounces of Goat Cheese
- 1 lb Pasta
- Salt
- Pepper
Instruction
- Chop the tomatoes.
- Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the beef. Brown the beef while using a wooden spoon to break it up into small pieces. Season the beef with about 1/4 teaspoon of salt and pepper.
- Once the beef has browned, add the chopped tomatoes. Let simmer and reduce over medium heat for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add the chopped tomatoes. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. The chopped tomatoes help to thicken the sauce.
- Cook the pasta until al dente. Add the goat cheese to the sauce. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain the pasta and serve it with a generous amount of sauce.
