Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 tsp Clove powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Olive oil
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Full fat milk
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 large Ripe bananas (Mashed)
  • 1 cup Pecans (Chopped)

Instruction

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C.
  • Grease a 9X5 inch loaf pan with oil and dust with flour.
  • Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Mix all the wet ingredients in another bowl.
  • Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Add the chopped pecans and mix.
  • Pour the mixture in the prepared pan.
  • Top with banana slices and some chopped pecans.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove the pan from the oven.
  • Let the bread cool for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the bread from the pan and cool on a wire rack until completely cooled.
  • Cut into slices and serve with coffee or tea.
