Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup milk (240ml)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 banana
  • optional - a few nuts to top or eg candied pecans and maple syrup

Instruction

  • Place the oats, milk and cinnamon in a small pan and warm over a medium heat. Stir a couple times as it cooks - you want the milk warmed through but not boiling and almost all absorbed.
  • While it's warming, mash the banana. Once cooked, mix the oatmeal and mashed banana together and serve warm with your choice of toppings.
