Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup white wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat baking sheets with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add bananas, eggs, and vanilla; mix until creamy. Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Stir in nuts. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on baking sheets.
  • Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned around edges. Let cool 2 minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
