Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3 bananas (overripe)
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 tbsp butter (softened)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 6 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp dulce de leche
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 350F
- Prepare the banana bread batter by mashing the ripened bananas in a large mixing bowl
- Add the brown sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla extract and whisk until they are thoroughly combined
- Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until they are well combined and form a batter
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and pour this into an oven-safe 10″ skillet
- In a medium mixing bowl, make the cheesecake filling by combining the cream cheese, egg, sugar, flour, and salt
- Spoon the cream cheese filling over the banana bread mixture
- Use a butter knife to gently mix the cream cheese filling into the banana bread without completely combining the two together
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
- Drizzle with Dulce de Leche or another caramel topping and serve warm
