  • 6 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp dulce de leche

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350F
  • Prepare the banana bread batter by mashing the ripened bananas in a large mixing bowl
  • Add the brown sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla extract and whisk until they are thoroughly combined
  • Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until they are well combined and form a batter
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips and pour this into an oven-safe 10″ skillet
  • In a medium mixing bowl, make the cheesecake filling by combining the cream cheese, egg, sugar, flour, and salt
  • Spoon the cream cheese filling over the banana bread mixture
  • Use a butter knife to gently mix the cream cheese filling into the banana bread without completely combining the two together
  • Bake for about 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
  • Drizzle with Dulce de Leche or another caramel topping and serve warm
