Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups cabbage shredded
- 1 cup carrot grated
- 1 cup onion thinly sliced
- 1 cup corn cob kernels
- 1/2 cup spring onion
- 1 cup plain flour
- 2 1/2 tbs cornflour
- 3 cups oil
- 1 onion
- 1 candlenuts
- 2 1/2 coriander roots washed
- 1 pinch salt *to taste
- 1 pinch pepper *to taste
Instruction
- Make a paste with all the ingredients for the paste.
- Mix the vegetables and the paste together in a bowl.
- Add the cornflour, some plain flour and few drops of water as needed spoon by spoon making sure the batter is not too runny.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
- Drop a spoon of the batter in the hot oil to check if it falls apart. If it does just add more flour.
- Shape and fry in batches. Serve hot with thai chilli sauce.
