  • 1/4 cup flat leaf parsley (chopped)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
  • all-purpose flour for dredging
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 pound dried ziti
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh basil leaves (julienned)
  • 5 cups marinara sauce
  • 3 cups whole milk ricotta
  • 2 cups mozzarella, (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, (grated)
  • 6 tablespoons butter, (cut into 1/4 inch pieces)
