Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb halibut (two fillets )
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red crushed pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves (finely minced)
  • 1 green chili (finely sliced)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instruction

  • In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients except for the halibut and lemon. Mix well. 
  • Season the halibut fillets on all sides with Kosher salt. 
  • Place the halibut fillets in the spicy honey mixture, and rub the marinade all over. Marinate for at least 20 minutes at room temperature. 
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place the halibut on a baking sheet, cover, and cook for 10 minutes or until fully cooked through. Once the 10 minutes are up, uncover the halibut and pour the remaining sauce over the fish. Broil for 1-2 minutes and enjoy with the sauce and lemon.
