Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound Ground turkey ((or ground beef))
- 1/2 cup Onion ((chopped))
- 8 oz Tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning salt
- 2 cans Biscuit dough ((16 total biscuits))
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
Instruction
- Cook and crumble ground turkey. Drain fat then return back to the stove top. Add in diced onions. Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes.
- To your turkey add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning salt, and brown sugar. Mix well then add cornstarch. Allow cooking again for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
- Preheat oven to what your biscuit dough instructions have called for. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
- Flatten out each biscuit then add a spoon full of your sloppy Joe mix in. Fold over and press to seal with a fork. Place on your prepared baking sheet and repeat.
- Sray the tops of your biscuits with the cooking spray then bake. Bake according to your package instructions. Mine took about 10-13 minutes. Once baked serve and enjoy.
