Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 pounds asparagus, woody ends removed
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated and divided
  • 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted and divided

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375º F
  • Place asparagus in an 11 x 7 inch baking dish. Combine heavy cream, half of the parmesan and butter. Pour over the asparagus.
  • Bake the cream and asparagus in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, until the asparagus is just tender.
  • While the asparagus is baking, combine the breadcrumbs, remaining butter and parmesan. Mix until well combined.
  • Remove the asparagus from the oven and sprinkle with the breadcrumb mixture. Place back in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown. Serve immediately.
