Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- ½ pound ground beef
- ½ pound Italian sausage (remove from casings)
- 1/3 cup Italian style breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine ground beef, sausage that has been removed from casings, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, pepper, and salt in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix together ingredients until well
- Using your hands, mix together ingredients until well combined.
- Scoop meat mixture by the tablespoon and form into small disks.
- Add a pinch of shredded mozzarella cheese to each disk.
- To form a ball, pinch the ends of each disk together to seal in the cheese, then roll the disk in between your hands until a ball forms.
- Place the meatballs in a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
