Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • ½ pound Italian sausage (remove from casings)
  • 1/3 cup Italian style breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine ground beef, sausage that has been removed from casings, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, pepper, and salt in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix together ingredients until well
  • Using your hands, mix together ingredients until well combined.
  • Scoop meat mixture by the tablespoon and form into small disks.
  • Add a pinch of shredded mozzarella cheese to each disk.
  • To form a ball, pinch the ends of each disk together to seal in the cheese, then roll the disk in between your hands until a ball forms.
  • Place the meatballs in a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
