Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 16 oz Macaroni
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder ((or to taste))
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder ((or to taste))
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
- 4 cups Milk ((whole milk works best for a thick sauce))
- 6 1/2 cup Sharp cheddar cheese ((shredded))
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Whisk together flour with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Then set aside.
- Melt butter in a large pot. Whisk in flour then milk, whisking until well combined.
- Slowly mix in 3 cups of shredded cheese until smooth and melted. Add macaroni to the pot and mix well until noodles are evenly coated. Add 3 more cups shredded and mix until melted.
- Add cheesy noodles to a casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded cheese and bake for 20 minutes. Until cheese is melted.
- Optional: top with fresh parsley for garnish
