Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 5 – Boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thickness)
  • Dashes of salt
  • Dashes of black pepper
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion – sliced
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • Dashes of salt
  • Dashes of black pepper
  • Dashes of ground oregano
  • Dashes of garlic powder
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Dashes of chili powder
  • Healthy handful of fresh basil – chopped
  • 2 stalks celery – chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs
  • Grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instruction

  • Preheat Oven 350 degrees.
  • Drizzle a little olive oil in a baking pan. Place the pork chops in the pan and season with salt and pepper and another drizzle of olive oil.
  • Top with the sliced onions, chopped garlic, fresh basil, celery and the crushed tomatoes. Add the seasonings and peas and top with the fresh bread crumbs.
  • Drizzle a little olive oil over this and top and finish with the grated cheese.
  • Place in the oven for 50-55 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pork chops you are using.
