Ingredients

The following ingredients have 10 Servings
  • 56 ounces can VanCamp's Pork & Beans (2 28-ounce cans or 1 3-pound can)
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke

Instruction

  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat. Using a slotted spoon, transfer to a paper towel lined plate to drain as much grease as possible. 
  • Wipe out most of the grease from the pan, leaving about a tablespoon. Cook diced onions in the bacon grease until softened; about 4 minutes.
