Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 2 lb.s of  asparagus spears
  • 1 cup of panko
  • 1/3 cup of parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dry basil
  • 3 egg whites, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons of your favorite fresh herbs {thyme, basil, rosemary}
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup of mayo
  • 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • In a small bowl mix panko, parmesan, and dry basil.
  • In another small bowl, lightly beat egg whites.
  • Dunk the Asparagus spears in beaten eggs white first then in the panko mixture.
  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  • In the meantime, in a small bowl mix, fresh herbs, lemon juice, garlic powder, and mayo. Set aside.
  • Remove asparagus fries from the oven and serve with the aioli.
